Caleb loves his bed. His nap and bedtime routine is so short because he practically leaps out of our arms trying to get into his bed. Not only is he generally a great sleeper, but we've also realized recently that he is attached to his crib bumper. It is his "soothie". This is what happened after Hannah requested that they both play in Caleb's crib for a bit...
He only sucks his thumb these days when he is touching the mesh fabric with his other hand. Sometimes he'll crawl into his room and just kneel by his bed, so he can touch the bumper and suck his thumb.
This is how he sleeps. He crawls to the same corner every time, curls up, drapes his left arm over the side and sucks his thumb. So cute.
Hannah got a bit frustrated that he wasn't really playing with her, so she decided to mimic him...it might have had something to do with the fact that he was stealing all my attention as I shot photo after photo of only him. :)
This is her imitation.
Then Caleb realized what she was doing. He thought she was pretty funny.

that is so cute!!!
cutest post EVER! How incredibly sweet!
This is freaking hilarious! Caleb is attached to his bumper pad. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. That picture of him sucking his thumb and holding it is beyond precious! And, Hannah! Boy, I know what that's like. She and Sophia are in the same boat. You won't believe what Sophia did, yesterday... or, maybe you will. Abby threw an empty raisin can at my head, yesterday. She didn't mean to hurt me; she was just playing. Well, Sophia gets jealous of the attention that Abby gets and sometimes "acts like a baby." Well, during one of these jealous episodes, she found the can and while laughing and ga-gaing, threw it at me. AH! Nothing can take my temper so high, so quickly. Miss you, Carmen. Sure wish I could get to know that adorable little Caleb. He looks like such a darling child.
Carmen, your kiddos are so adorable. what a fun glimpse into their personalities.
